Purchased 45 Samaritan® AEDS

-- Heartsave Solutions, Inc., a leading distributor of
Samaritan® automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and
provider of AED/CPR training and AED program management
services, announced today the sale of 45 Heartsine™
Samaritan® AEDs to Dover Air Force Base in Dover
Delaware, for deployment in their facilities.
Dover Air Force Base is the 436th Airlift Wing, the
active duty wing and senior military organization at
Dover Air Force Base. The "Eagle Wing" is a subordinate
of 18th Air Force and Air Mobility command, both
headquartered at Scott AFB Ill. The Eagle Wing consists
of the operations, maintenance, mission support, and
medical groups; in addition to 14 divisions and two
detachments. The wing has over 4,000 active-duty
military and civilian employees.
Dover Air Force Base evaluated all the AED products on
the market and selected the Samaritan® AED over other
devices on the market based on its ease of use,
self-testing features, and maintenance-free operation.
The program provides for AEDs to be placed in strategic
locations on the base to allow access by trained
individuals to use in reviving personnel during certain
cardiac crisis prior to the arrival of emergency
services. Heartsave Solutions has just finished training
almost 200 military and civilian employees at Dover AFB
to start up the bases AED program.

the US Army Wuerzburg Medical Activity at Wuerzburg
Hospital in Germany. Heartsave Solutions has also
donated an AED to the 2nd Battalion 108th Infantry of
the New York Army National Guard serving with the 1st
Infantry currently in Iraq.
